Vinăria Bostavan was founded in 2002 with an investment of $20 million. It operates two production facilities — a cellar in Etulia which is located in the south of Moldova and is well suited for red grape production, and another in Oneşti which is located in the center of Moldova where white grapes thrive. Bostavan produced its first wine in 2003.

Since then, Bostavan has become a well established company with sales around the world and a stable market share at home. Today, Bostavan sells its products in more than 20 countries worldwide, including Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Romania, Czech Republic, Poland, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Baltic States, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Israel, USA, Canada, Japan, South Korea and others. In 2008, Bostavan had the largest share of the still wine market in Moldova, and was the leading exporter as well.

Bostavan wines have been rewarded with more than thirty medals during the last four years at exhibitions like the International Wine and Spirit Competition in London, the Prodexpo Wine and Spirit Competition Moscow, Russia, and the Chisinau Wines & Spirits Contest in Moldova.
