Moldova Wine Guild Returns to ProWein

During the exhibition the wineries showcased their extensive product ranges to interested fair participants and organized meetings with clients and partners to strengthen their business ties.

A highlight of the fair was a special forum, Moldova as a Winegrowing Country — Rediscovering Traditions, organized on March 30, the second day of the fair, with the support of The Committee on Eastern European Economic Relations (Ost-Ausschuss der Deutschen Wirtschaft). At the forum, Mr. Ludwig Wengenmayr discussed evolution of quality wine production in Moldova and the country?s long winemaking history. Also, Karl-Mertes (the owner of La Vinum company, importer of Moldavian Wines in Germany), Eduard Grama — the President of Moldova Wine Guild and Nelly Sonic — Owner of Lion-Gri Winery welcomed the participants. Participants were also given a chance to taste several wines at the forum.
